KRE Valid Transaction Checklist

The Kin Rewards Engine KRE rewards developers for creating awesome experiences that utilize Kin. In order to maintain a fair playing field amongst Kin developers and a safe experience for users, applications must satisfy these requirements to be eligible for rewards from the KRE.

Spend Checklist

A Spend Transaction is a User-to-Developer or a User-to-User transaction. For every Spend Transaction in the app:

Users are aware of items/services they are spending Kin on.
Users are aware of the cost of each item/ service.
Users voluntarily initiate the spend transaction by performing an action such as clicking a button.
No transaction occurs without authorisation from the user to spend their Kin.
Transactions greater than 100 Kin have a confirmation prompt before the spend transaction occurs.
The Kin icon is displayed in the UI to the extent practicable.

Subscription Checklist

The initial payment of a Subscription is a Spend Transaction, however subsequent payments for the Subscription may occur automatically so therefore we have special rules about Subscriptions.

Initial Subscription signup conforms to the Spend checklist above.
Users are aware of what they are subscribing to.
Users are aware of the length and cost of the Subscription.
No Subscription occurs without authorization from the user.
The billing interval is not less than 1 week in length.
The cost of the Subscription does not change during the Subscription period.
The user has information on how to unsubscribe.
The user can unsubscribe at any time.

App Checklist

The app is accessible by the Kin Foundation.
Developer is in compliance with the app store rules that host the app (if applicable).
Developer is in compliance with the Kin Foundation Terms of Use and Developer Terms
